An Entrepreneur His 3 Some Chocolates Brand
Let’s meet Patrick Glanville, founder of 3 Some Chocolates, one of the only such Black-owned and operated companies in the country. As a chocolatier and culinary artist, his company fulfills their clients’ chocolate fantasies by combining three flavors into one, offering it in a pack of three and calling it a “3 Some” that can be shared with everyone.
Coming from Mount Vernon, NY Patrick and his wife Kristin launched their business in 2017. Their company has been raising the bar in the chocolate industry by introducing new and enticing flavors never seen before by chocolate lovers. To date, they’ve sold and shipped their products all over the United Stated and the world.
Patrick says that he began working on his craft at the age 10 with his grandmother who first taught him how to cook, temper chocolate and create many other delicacies. One of her favorite treats was her secret family recipe for her “Jerk Chocolates” which she passed down to Patrick.
Born and raised in Southside Jamaica, Queens, Patrick eventually perfected his craft by becoming a certified chocolatier. He and his wife both studied at the Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy in Lebbeke, Belgium.
Within three years, his company has already sold more than 400,000 units, garnered a plethora of five-star ratings and has accumulated more than 75,000 customers and counting. His trademarked products are not sold in retail stores, but only on his company’s platforms.
Patrick’s wife, Kristin, is the CFO/Co-CEO of the company. She has a background in business administration, operations and finance, and has worked to build and protect the brand and help the brand reach its true potential.
On the web site at 3SomeChocolates.com, customers will find exclusive items such as their sweet and spicy trademarked Jerk Chocolate Bites, their limited edition Ruby and White Red Velvet Cookie bar, and an array of delicious truffles such as their Coquito Truffles and Cognac Truffles.
